Our six laboratory centres work in synergy with R&D, Production and Quality, ensuring fast turnaround times, complete traceability and compliance with international standards.
Copper laboratories
Volpiano & Almese
Specialisation:
copper cables for power, control, industrial, transport and special applications.
Main capabilities:
- Electrical testing (resistance, dielectric strength, continuity).
- Mechanical analysis (traction, bending, fatigue).
- Qualification of materials and conductor geometries.

Optical laboratories

Specialisation:
fibre optic cables and hybrid solutions for telecommunications, defence, railways, naval and industrial applications.
Main capabilities:
- Measurement of attenuation, dispersion and fibre quality.
- Climatic and mechanical testing.
- Qualification of armoured, hybrid and heavy-duty cables.

Flame test laboratory
Specialisation:
the reaction of cables to fire.
Main capabilities:
- Flame propagation test.
- Measurement of smoke, toxicity and corrosiveness.
- Pre-qualification for railway, naval and industrial regulations.

fast in-house validation of LSZH and halogen-free formulations.
CPR test laboratory
Specialisation:
compliance with Regulation (EU) 305/2011 for construction products.
Main capabilities:
- Fire reaction class testing in compliance with EN 50575.
- Smoke/acid emissions and combustion.
- Drafting of DoP documents.

total CPR compliance monitoring with reduced response times.
Automation test laboratory
Specialisation:
dynamic cables for robotics, servo motors and cable chains.
Main capabilities:
- Torsion and flexing tests.
- Dynamic chain life cycle simulation up to 10 million cycles.

Volpiano Defence laboratory
Specialisation:
validation for military and aerospace cables in compliance with international standards (MIL, STANAG, JN).
Main capabilities:
- Severe environmental testing (shock, vibration, thermal cycle).
- EMI/EMC and shielding testing.
- Compatibility with aviation fluids and aggressive substances.
- Testing in compliance with MIL-DTL, PANAVIA, EUROFIGHTER
